The Tag Team Championship was organized by Surfoz Surf School in the summer of 2004 at Foz do Arelho Beach. This event has been innovator because it has combined several beach sports.

    Participants were divided by teams, each one with five competitors. All the competitors had to exceed themselves in all the sports, in order to increase the team’s points.

      This event transformed surfers in bodyboarders and bodyboarders in surfers, which has provided lots of laughs at the beach. The winning team was the most consistent during the all championship, getting the bigger score.

      In general it was a very positive activity, because it increased the group spirit between the competitors, being a championship with several sports. The weather and sea conditions helped us, being propitious for the practice of the sports and the audience shown a great adhesion.
